Saturday : crazy-ness

Saturday night was truly one of the more unusually fun nights. It was really great to see some of my friends there as well as doing some crazy things I have never done before.

Tonight, me and Howie went to the usual Midnight Shift. It was much better than Friday night to be sure. Unlike Friday, there were so many friends I have not seen for a long while. Oliver, whom I met from coming out group at uni years ago, was at the club. It's been around half a year since I last saw him and I was really pleasantly surprised. Oliver is a very intelligent yet light-hearted sweet guy. He was with his boyfriend of a long time ( maybe 12 months now?). We danced for good while of the night, but he promised his bf they would leave at 1:30am.So he did, sigh...

Diva was also there with his friends as well. I met Diva at a friend's birthday party in April last year. He's great to hang around with, as he's always so excited and happy and free spirited. Every time he sees me, he always bursts out with " Oh hello, DARLING~~". I love that he seems so happy to see me everytime.

Justie and his straight roommate, Mikey, also came to the club. I met Justie at a university student group called coming out group a few years back. We've always kept in touch and he's become one of the few guys from that group I actually talk to. Tonight, he brought Mikey with him. Mikey is very straight and I was very surprised to see him there. But turned out he's motivation for coming out tonight was not all pure...

When we finished dancing at around 2am. Justie suggested going to this other club called Spectrum across the road. So we walked out of the club only to learn that he and Mikey had planned to visit a straight strip club at Kings X.

After finding out that Spectrum has a 5 dollar cover charge, we made our way to the X. When we got there, Mikey and Justie stopped by this strip club and the bouncers wasted no time in ushering us in. Good thing he does. Because with a hefty 25 dollar cover charge, we would not have walked in without a little push!!!

The stippers were actually very pretty and sexy. One of them truly had this beautiful slim but yet very feminine frame. Very sexy moves with the poles as well. It was surprising how "non-sleazy", the whole thing was. I was half expecting blow jobs and seedy old men everywhere. But it was really very family friendly... Oh well, maybe not family frinedly:) but it was very clean and polite. The guys in the audience were actually quite young and attractive. The strippers choose their "bait" and dance up on them for tips. I'd probably be all turned on if I liked girls. But it was quite entertaining to watch from a distance too.

One thing I did notice was how two of the strippers were actually checking me out with repeated glances. These were sorta brief glances during the dance moves, and I am not sure if they were intentional at all. But I was watching them very closely and didn't notice them looking at Howie once. This feels kinda odd, since I do like guys, but maybe this is a bit odd to say, but I felt like I had connection on some level with one of the strippers. It made me curious to get to know her better... well, maybe in my fantasy hehe.

Speaking of glances. Howie later told me that one of the guys dancing at the Shift was checking me out. "He kept looking at you!!" He was refering to this hot young dude in a T shirt that reads" I heart NY" who was dancing on the stage. To be honest, when I saw him I was completely mesmerised. Even Oliver commenting on it was not hard to tell who I was interested in. hehe :) I just could not take my eyes off him! But so couldn't a lot of people, some seedy old men even tried to touch him, Howie told me. But I was sorta flattered and pissed off when Howie told me that he was looking at me. I asked repeatedly " Why didn't you tell me!!??!!!??" But all Howie could say was that he did hint at trying to get us to hook up which of course I did refuse as a total chicken. But, that's before I learnt that he was looking at me too!!! Howie!!!!!!!

Anyway, this is really not the hightlight of the night. What was though was a freaking crazy bold move I made on one of the bartenders in the club. I'll tell you more tomorrow...
